A Real Snow... February

As you may have heard, the South got a real snow (I'm talkin' 2-4 inches) on Friday. Most people were totally freaked out by it (the stores couldn't hardly keep bread and milk on the shelves!), which made us laugh. (: But we were very excited! Who knew the kids' first snowman would be in Atlanta?!

Looking out our bedroom window to see the snow falling

We bundled up the kids and headed outside. Nathan began making a snowman.

Addison kept falling over, but Dylan helped her while she was down.

Completed!

One of the rare occassions we'll see what our house looks like snow-covered.

Tasting the snow

Dylan was pelting snowballs at the front door, while Nathan was pelting Dylan from behind. (:
We also managed to go sledding yesterday in my parents' backyard, but we didn't have the camera. Since they don't really sell sleds in these parts, we opened up a cardboard box. It worked great. Dylan LOVED it! Addison wasn't so sure. And honestly, I think Nathan & I had as much fun as Dylan.

The First Snow... January

In mid-January, Atlanta got snow. It was more than we got last year, so we were excited. It was still only maybe a 1/2 inch, but we weren't complaining!

All bundled up

There was only enough snow to make tracks, but Dylan was perfectly happy with that!
