Dylan loves to build towers, play with his Matchbox cars, color, and play with his stuffed animals. His cars and coloring have helped him learn a lot of his colors already (yellow, green, blue, red, purple, black, white, brown, pink, gold). His favorite stuffed animal changes day by day. He always loves Thumper, Simba & Dumbo that Uncle Trent bought him for Christmas. But recently he's really taken to Mickey Mouse that Uncle Tim & Aunt Carrie bought him for Christmas last year. There are about 10 animals in his crib at all times that he loves. He's really cute with them too--feeding them, putting them to bed, lots of kisses, etc.
He is REALLY talking a lot. I'm not just saying this because I'm his mom, and of course my child is a genius. (: Really... we get comments from friends and nursery workers all the time about how many words he says. And finally, other people, besides just Nathan & I, can understand some of what he says!
I've decided we've gotten really lucky with Dylan being such a good, easy kid (I realize that we haven't hit the terrible twos yet). Which makes me a little nervous about the little one on the way. I don't think one family is allowed to have more than one easy kid, are they?! (:
