Visit to Missouri

The week after Easter, we headed north to Missouri. We visited Nathan's parents for the majority of the time, with a quick trip to St. Louis/Columbia.

On to Sikeston...

With Grandpa Jim, after arriving

Addison with Grandmama

Addison likes to grab things... and what a grip she has!

Surprise, surprise... he LOVED the remote control cars. Dylan, Nathan & Grandpa Jim would race them until the batteries died.

Up to St. Louis (our first trip back as a family since moving a year ago)...

We stopped by my friend, Leah's, to see her & Noah. Noah was only 4 mos old the last time I saw him!!! What a big boy now!
(Dylan wasn't so sure about having to share... one of the stages we're passing through at the moment.)

Addison really liked looking at Noah... another baby!!!

While I stayed in St. Louis with Addison, Nathan, Dylan & Grandmama headed to Columbia for the annual Mizzou spring football game. This was Dylan's first football game ever!!!

With Grandmama

Back at our friend's house, Addison was showing off her "getting on all fours" moves. She just started doing this in April.

Dylan had a fun time with our friends' boys... wrestling!

Back to Sikeston...

Did I mention what a good big brother Dylan is??

Grandmama arranged for a cake, so we could celebrate Dylan's 3rd birthday with them a little early. Dylan didn't mind a bit!

Addison loved the party too

Dylan & Addison's first trip to a Sikeston landmark: Lambert's, Home of the Throwed Rolls.
Dylan was a little nervous at first, but by the end, he attempted catching a roll. He dropped it, but we gave him an A for effort! (:

Addison did NOT like their sweet potatoes. (:

Outside the restaurant was a wooden train. I love this picture of Dylan... it's hard to get a natural smile out of him these days.

By the time we left MO, Addison had surpassed just getting on all fours, to actually rocking back and forth.
